💥 BREAKING NEWS: Angel Reese demands more than Caitlin Clark, igniting a bold conversation about value, visibility, and power in women’s basketball ⚡

The WNBA is in the midst of an extraordinary growth phase, with two new expansion teams set to join the league for the 2026 season. Unfortunately, the league is at risk of not even having a season, as negotiations between the WNBA and the WNBAPA on a new collective bargaining agreement continue to drag out.

The stars of the league have been vocal about what they need guaranteed before they’re willing to sign off. However, some of these players, such as Indiana Fever star and household name Caitlin Clark, have been more diplomatic in their wording when they broach the subject.

Clark has also taken a diplomatic approach when it comes to the talent around her, always talking up teammates and giving PR-approved answers when it comes to the Fever’s roster construction.

Chicago Sky Angel Reese is more into issuing demands and is demanding that her front office move more than Clark has done publicly.

“I’m not settling for the same s— we did this year,” Reese said, via the Chicago Tribune. “We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a nonnegotiable for me.

“I’m willing and wanting to play with the best. And however I can help to get the best here, that’s what I’m going to do this offseason to make sure we attract the best of the best, because we can’t settle for what we have this year.”

It’s shocking to see Reese so vocal, considering she has yet to make the playoffs in her young career. Still, as talented and marketable as Reese is, the Sky would by wise to keep her happy before she seeks greener pastures in free agency or her next demand involves being traded.
